A1 Crash Course · Online
Are you an engineer, do you work in IT or technology, or do you want to study in Germany? Then you don't need months of learning everyday vocabulary that you'll never use in meetings, on the factory floor, or in the lab. Don't learn "The apple is red" – learn "I design engines.".
Our crash course is your introduction to German technical terminology. It follows the A1 grammar of the telc curriculum, but replaces everyday vocabulary with actual engineering terms.
Course details
The course takes place entirely online – live and interactively via Microsoft Teams. You'll learn in a small group, ensuring you actively participate in every session. Course materials and the chat with your instructors can be found in the course's dedicated Teams channel.
In the very first unit, you introduce yourself in German – for example, with "I work as a mechanical engineer at BMW in Munich." Instead of A for apple, you learn A for aluminum, D for data, and V for volt. You name tools, describe materials, and communicate confidently in a professional setting.
This course is aimed at engineers, IT professionals, technicians, and students who want to study or work in Germany. No prior knowledge is required – we start from scratch.
