You've mastered the basics and want to take the step towards independent language use? In the B1.1 course, you'll learn to communicate confidently in most everyday and professional situations, to justify your opinions, and to talk about experiences, goals, and plans.
Level B1 is crucial for many paths to Germany – for example, for education, employment, or residency. The course follows the telc curriculum; together with the follow-up course B1.2, you will complete level B1 fully.
Course details
The course takes place live online via Microsoft Teams – twice a week, with over three hours of instruction each session, in a small group. Course materials and the chat with your instructors can be found in the course's dedicated Teams channel.
You will work with more challenging texts and conversations, expand your vocabulary for professional and social contexts, and specifically train in free speaking and writing.
German language skills at level A2 are required. You need a computer or tablet with a stable internet connection.
